“Meeting Desiree Was a Turning Point in My Life”

Prior to meeting Desiree, I was in desperate straits. A decade of repeated herniated discs left me feeling debilitated and broken. I was throwing out my back twice a year and every downturn required several months to “recover.” I was dodging a seemingly inevitable surgery, hoping time, luck, and injections would heal me. Yet the setbacks arrived with increasing frequency, and each new episode brought deeper pain and longer lasting discomfort. Two steps backward, one step forward. My quality of life was plummeting. I was missing work, cancelling vacations, and otherwise experiencing punctuated misery. I could hardly play with my children, much less accomplish my own fitness goals.

Meeting Desiree was a turning point in my life.

Desiree understood the root of my suffering and went to work. Each session, we took incremental, yet meaningful, steps. She initially worked to help me release the pain and tension in my back, then sought to improve my flexibility and strength. Progress stacked week by week, accumulating into dramatic leaps forward. Within three months, my back was feeling better than it had in years. Today, three and a half years later, I am a new man. I cannot fully convey the magnitude of the improvement. I have not had a single recurrence since starting my journey with Desiree. This seemed almost unthinkable when she started helping me..

I never miss a week with Desiree. The work we do each session supports a healthy, vital life. Activities that seemed unthinkable when I met Desiree have become normal. 

I owe Desiree more than she will ever know. I trust her implicitly. Desiree is supportive, kind, incisive, empathic, and expert. She has a wonderful spirit and a healing nature. I am eternally grateful for the positive impact she’s had on my life and look forward to seeing her each week.

When I first began working with Desiree, I was a 70-year-old woman at the end of a 35-year professional career that had me hunched over a computer 4-6 hours a day.
